Souparnika to Perform at Indywood Film Carnival’s National Talent Show where talented students in the country required for the Film Industry shall be indentified
23.01.2017, Cochin: With an aim to uplift the Indian Film Industry, Indywood has always been eager to support and encourage talented artists of our country. Discovered at Kerala School Kalolsavam 2017 held at Kannur, Kerala, Indywood has proclaimed to support N. S. Souparnika, an 8th Standard student at Thonnakkal GVHSS, Attingal who has shown keen interest in participating at the Nadodi Nrityam Competition at the arts festival organized by Kerala government.
Out of the many heart touching stories heard at the backstage, her’s was the most heart wrenching one. With a dream to join the kalmandalam and become a dance teacher, N.S. Souparnika came to Kalolsavam to showcase her talent at the competition. To keep her daughter’s dream alive and take her one step ahead towards that bright future her mother had to sell her Nupital thread and mortgage 3 cent land given by her grandmother to make proper arrangements for her daughter. Saluting her courage and determination, Founder Director of Indywood Film Carnival, Shri Sohan Roy declared that Indywood shall offer Souparnika a scholarship to meet her future dance learning expenses. The committee shall also invite her to Indywood Film carnival, the world’s ultimate film fiesta scheduled at Ramoji film City, Hyderabad from December 1- 4, 2017, to perform and show her skills to the world film fraternity.
Celebrating exceptional talent, towering ambitions and reckoning the ‘Best of the Bests’ Indywood also organises Indywood Talent Hunt, the next generation platform to stardom, a one of a kind event that marks the beginning of a new journey for every individual to realize their dreams. This year the talent hunt shall organize competitions in 20 different categories where over 2500 finalists shall compete for the coveted honors in each particular competition in front of Film makers from more than 100 countries.
