Founded by Sir Sohan Roy on 28th March 1998 in the UAE, Aries Group began with its flagship unit, Aries
Marine, and has since grown to become one of the largest multinational conglomerates in the Middle East.

Marine BizTV, our maritime television channel, created history as the world’s one and only TV Channel
promoting maritime business. When it is concerned with the healthcare sector our unique venture Medi BizTV,
the first global health care TV Channel that is dedicated to health and wellbeing, has already made its
mark. This channel serves as a tool of integration for the global healthcare sector and medium to
communicate healthcare and medical information to the people across the world.
DAM 999, the Hollywood movie produced under the banner of BizTV Network and distributed by Warner Brothers
was released under tremendous fanfare and publicity in late 2011 and was later shortlisted for 5 Oscar
Nominations. Sohan Roy, the CEO of Aries Group of Companies is the co-producer of the much anticipated movie
of the decade ‘Kamasutra 3D’.
Our novel tourism oriented concepts of steel houseboat ‘Safe Botel’ and world’s longest steel snake boat
‘Urukku Chundan’ set us apart from other conglomerates. Urukku Chundan has won us pride of place in the
Guinness Book of World Records, Limca Book of Records and Asia Book of Records.
One of our latest ventures, Aries International Maritime Research Institute (AIMRI) has become a unique
platform to promote industrial research and mould a new generation of marine professionals with the support
of visual media ensuring 100% industrial placement.
Recently Aries Group has acquired Mohanlal’s Vismayas Max Studio, which will henceforth be known as
Aries-Vismayas Max Studio. Aries Group has also taken over Epic Studios, India’s biggest 3D Stereoscopic
Studio facility. These acquisitions have enabled the group to house South India's largest Film and TV Studio
network.
